Elizabeth Barbara Brisebois, 79, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Albany Medical Center with her family by her side.

Barbara was also predeceased by her dear sister, Dorthea Wade, her cherished grandson, Jarid “Angel” Valenti, and her first husband, Joseph Dominic Zappone.

Barbara is survived by her two children Christine Zappone Futia and Joseph William Zappone. Chris, Joe and their mother shared a bond of love and dedication to each other that will never be broken.
She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Kellie Zappone, who was a 2nd mother in all ways to her as well as her BFF, and her Number #1 son-in-law, Thomas Futia, who referred to Barb lovingly as “ Mother”.
Barbara is also survived by her two loving grandsons, Joseph and Cody Zappone, whom she loved unconditionally with all of her heart.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Schaffer and the staff at Albany Medical Center for their unparralled competent and compassionate care given to Barbara.
