Yolanda A. Douglas

Yolanda A. Douglas, 51, lifelong resident of the city of Albany passed away peacefully surrounded by family March 10, 2026.

She was the daughter of the late Evelyn Kimble-Miller.

Yolanda was a graduate of Albany High School and attended Herkimer Community College. She grew up attending services at Union Missionary Baptist Church with her Grandmother, Inez Bosh, every Sunday and developed a love for Gospel Music. She was a happy outgoing person, always telling jokes and usually had a big smile on her face. She always looked forward to going with her mother and brother Michael to Atlantic City every year. Her favorite sport was basketball because she loved The Globe Trotters.

She is survived by two Brothers, Willie A. Miller (Nicola) and Michael J. Miller; a host of Nieces, Nephews, Grandnieces, Grandnephews, Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.

A calling hour will be held at Union Missionary Baptist Church, 3 Morton Avenue, Albany, NY 12202 on Tuesday, March 17, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a funeral ceremony to immediately follow. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont.
