William “Brink” Hartman

William “Brink” Hartman, 55, of Slingerlands, passed away peacefully at home on April 4, 2026. Born in Albany, New York, he was the son of Patricia Hartman and the late George Hartman.

 Brink received his education at Marist College and The College of Saint Rose.Brink was a devoted family man who found great joy in spending time with his loved ones. He had a passion for golf, was a dedicated fan ofthe Boston Red Sox, and loved swimming. His commitment to his community was evident through his many years as a swim coach at local pools, where he generously gave his time mentoring young athletes. He also served as President of the Board at Friends in Adoption, reflecting his deep dedication to helping others. Brink built a long and successful career in customer care and claims for 28 years with Empire Blue Cross Blue Shield (Anthem).

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tami Hartman; his children, Maggie Hartman and Andrew Hartman; his mother, Patricia Hartman; his sister,Dorothy (Raymond) Roohan; his nephew, Liam (Julia) Roohan; his niece,Trisha (Tyler) Hull; and his aunt, Maria Hartman.Brink will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humor, and the love he shared with his family, friends, and community.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April, 11th at 11:00 amat St. Peter's Episcopal Church, 107 State Street , Albany, NY 12207 All who knew and loved him are welcome to attend.
