William "Bill" H. Harrison, Jr.

William "Bill" H. Harrison Jr., lovingly known as Willy, Sid Vicious, Dad, Papa, and G.G. Pa, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2025. Bill lived 99 remarkable years filled with love, devotion, and adventure, spending each one cherishing those around him, especially his family.

A WWII Navy Veteran, Major in the Civil Air Patrol flying dozens of search and rescue missions in his own airplane, tenor in his church choir, Methodist Lay Speaker, competition barbershop quartet singer, private investigator, avid Mets fan, and as a young man exercised thoroughbred racehorses at Belmont Raceway, Bill's life was rich with stories, service, and heart. Bill was fiercely dedicated to his family and was a constant source of love and support to them all.

He now rejoins "Mickey," his beloved wife of 62 years, and leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, integrity, and unwavering love.

Bill is survived by his three beloved daughters, Nancy Cypser (Gus), Diane Wynne (Rich), and Laura Gouveia; six grandchildren, Ryan Wynne (Molly), Jillian Nissen (Daniel), Gregory Cypser (Rickens Anantua), Lindsay Wynne, Colin Wynne (Bailey Heller), Rowan Gouveia (Evan Iler); six great-grandchildren, Ellie, Clara, Margot, Aislin, Gemma, and Felicity; and his sister, Ellen Pagliarulo.

The family warmly invites you to celebrate the extraordinary life of Bill at 6 p.m., Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at Calvary United Methodist Church, 15 Ridge Pl., Latham, N.Y. 12110. All are invited to join the family following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Bill's name to Calvary United Methodist Church.
