Virginia B. Bastiani

ALBANY- Virginia B. Bastiani, 94, passed away peacefully on February 3, 2017 at the Wesley Health Care Center in Saratoga Springs.
She was born on November 23, 1922 the daughter of the late Bruno and Evangeline (Vitali) Bastiani in Parsons, PA.
Virginia was a graduate of Cathedral Academy in Albany. She worked for many years as a file clerk for the NYS Dept. of Tax & Finance.
Virginia is survived by her niece and caretaker, Patricia (Bob Fischer) DeMento; great-nieces and great-nephew, Kirsten (James Holmes) DeMento, Michele (Tim) Haynam, Michael (Amanda) DeMento; her great-great niece and nephews, Tabor Holmes, Hunter Holmes, Michael DeMento, III, Jake DeMento and John DeMento and other nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy Rosati and her brother, Raul Bastiani.
A private graveside service will be held in the spring at Calvary Cemetery, Glenmont, NY.
