ALBANY_Violet A. Clarke,84, passed away May 25, 2016 at Albany Medical Center.
Violet worked as a nurse at Albany County Nursing Home. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Violet was an active member at Capital Church. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her children, Ivon Clarke of Albany, Meril (Jean) Clarke-Jacques of Rennselaer, Melvin (Panzea) Clarke of Albany, Murray (Rose) Clarke of Newburgh, Lincoln Clarke of Albany and Courtney Clarke of Tarrytown, 13 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Dermot and son, Carl Clarke.
The funeral service will be held on June 4, 2016 from 9:30-10:30am at Capital Church, 31 Vly Rd., Albany, NY 12205. A funeral service for Violet will begin at 10:30am. Interment will be held at Memory Gardens Cemetery immediately following services.
