Listen to Obituary

Vincent DePaul Martin IV passed away on June 25, 2026 at 56 years old peacefully in Las Vegas, NV with love in all of our hearts.

Born on June 6, 1970 in Albany, NY, Vince was the son of Celia Veltman. Vince dedicated his life to service for other individuals as a flight mechanic for the United States Coast Guard for 20 years. He carried this value to serving others in his personal life through his generosity and prioritization of others above himself.

Above all else, Vince cherished his family. He was a devout father who took pride in his children's achievements. He is survived by his children, Kara and Gavin Martin, wife Da'Nae Fox, his mother Celia Veltman, and brother Jim Veltman (Michelle). Vince is preceded in death by his father Kevin Veltman and brother Scott Martin.

In his personal life he was the life of the party, he made everyone and anyone laugh, always having them come back for more. He sought out adventure. Whether this being enjoying time boating on Lake George, kite surfing in Corpus Christi, skiing in Vermont, or anything in between. He loved long days packed with fun activities and exploration. He took pride in his relationship with his dogs Hurley, Hunter, and Brodie.

Those who knew Vince will remember his sense of humor, generosity, strength, compassion, and adventurous spirit. His legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the love he gave to his family and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on August 13, 2026 at New Comer Funeral home i181 Troy Schenectady Rd,  Watervliet NY, 12189 from 4pm to 6pm with service to follow. We kindly ask you to wear bright colors to reflect the fun and bright life Vince lived.
