Ms. Vertulie Guerrier, age 91, passed away at home by her loved ones in Schenectady, NY, on Friday, July 13, 2018. She died of natural causes.
Born on January 14, 1927 in Jacmel, Haiti. She also resided in Part au Prince, Haiti before she came to the United States. A resident of Brooklyn, NY, Mount Vernon, NY, New Rochelle, NY, before ultimately settling in Schenectady, NY. Originally a seamstress in her home country and leaving it behind to be a homemaker/ caretaker for her three grandchildren. She was a devote Christian woman. Virtuous, pious, and humbly modest in all her ways. Her Christ like, nurturing character blessed all she came in contact with. She loved the Lord & was a member of the Seventh Adventist Church unto her last days.
Survivors include her daughter, Marge I. LaCroix, son in law, Boniface LaCroix, Eldest grandson Marc B. LaCroix & granddaughter Tracey M. LaCroix. Vertulie Guerrier was predeceased in death by Charlemagne Michel and her grandson Billy LaCroix.
