ALBANY – Vera Truax, 79, passed away on Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Albany Medical Center Hospital.
Vera was born on January 18, 1933 in Altamont. She attended schools in Altamont. Vera moved to Albany in 1974 and worked at New Visions Day Hab.
Vera is survived by her close friend, Defney Gamboa, with whom shared a strong faith in God and enjoyed attending church with her.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday (TODAY) at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A calling hour will precede the service from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands.
