Sir Ulrich Odin Tedeschi, age 10, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 26, 2025, surrounded by his family after a courageous lifelong battle with cancer. From the moment he entered this world, Ulrich faced challenges with a bravery and tenacity that inspired everyone who knew him.
Despite the countless hospital visits, treatments, and obstacles that filled his young life, Ulrich never lost his joy or his fighting spirit. His room was filled with his treasured Pokémon collection, stuffies, blankets and Legos. He found happiness in the things he loved most, lunch dates with Miss P, playing tricks on the Nurses & Doctors, Pokémon, Minecraft, Legos, watching YouTube, and playing video games where he could be the hero of his own adventures. He approached every game with the same determination and courage he showed in his daily battle with illness.
Ulrich’s smile could illuminate even the darkest hospital room. He taught his family and all who knew him about true strength, resilience, and the power of never giving up. His nurses and doctors often remarked that he was one of the bravest patients they had ever known.
Though his time on earth was far too brief, Ulrich packed more courage, spunk, love, and joy into his 10 years than most people experience in a lifetime. He was a warrior, a son, and a hero who touched countless hearts. Now his spirit lives on catching Pokémon and chasing dreams.
Ulrich is survived by his parents Larissa (Michael McCabe), Sean Tedeschi (Brittany Stack), his siblings Ragnar, Leland, Acacia, and a community that loved him deeply.
