Timothy W. Gaudio

Rotterdam-Timothy "Thumper" W. Gaudio, 68, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2016.
Tim was born in Washington D.C. on September 8, 1948, to Mr. and Mrs. Salvatore and Eileen Gaudio. Tim served his country honorably in the United States Navy from 1970 to 1976. After his military service Tim went on to work for General Electric Company in Schenectady, NY for over 30 years as a machinist. Tim enjoyed the simple things in life and he will be remembered for his love of motorcycles, photography, and helping others. His passion in life was his animals.
Tim is survived by his life partner, Sue Simmons, his children; Charlene (Tom) Ridgeway, Danny (Bobbiejo Plass) Gaudio, his grandchildren; Amanda, and Domenica, and his two great-grandchildren; Hayden, and Sharyll, his parents, Salvatore and Eileen Gaudio, his brothers; Danny (Lynn) Gaudio, and Greg (Mona) Gaudio, and all of his extended friends, and family, especially Clint and Heather.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205 on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 from 10:00am to 12:00am, with a service to immediately follow. Burial will follow at Saratoga National Cemetery at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Tim's name to Leather Stocking Honor Flight, P.O. Box 621, Cobleskill, NY 12043, or to the ASPCA, Humane Society.
