Thomas Foster

Thomas W. Foster, age 65, died unexpectedly at his home in Troy, NY, on March 7, 2026.

Born in Poughkeepsie, NY, he was the son of the late Thomas E. and Helen A. Foster.

Tom is survived by his sisters Merilee (Missy) White of Charlotte NC and Carol Chavers of Gurnee IL and their families.

Thomas graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. He retired from Time Warner Cable in 2021. Tom will be missed by friends and family, who enjoyed his calm, quiet demeanor, sense of humor and enthusiasm for collecting vintage and art deco design.

Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Tom’s life on April 21, 2026, at Watervliet Elks Lodge, 501 4th Ave, Watervliet NY, 12 pm – 4 pm.
