Thomas C. Magliocca
April 16, 1931 — January 2, 2016
Thomas C. Magliocca, 84, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2, 2016 at St. Peters hospital with his loving family by his side.
He was the son of the late Sam Magliocca and Henrietta Murphy.
Thomas was the devoted husband for over 60 years, to June (Bowers) Magliocca.
He graduated from New York State Maritime College.
Thomas proudly served with the United States Navy and the US Coast Guard. He was part of the Saratoga National Honor Guard.
He enjoyed traveling, playing golf and he loved to eat.
In addition to his wife, June, Thomas is survived by his daughters Karen (Eric) Rocheteau and Kim (Magliocca) Watson. He is the cherished grandfather of Gerritt "Scooby" Dollard.
A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 7, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 35 Adams Place Delmar. Entombment will follow the Mass at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schylerville, NY at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Historical St. Marys Church on Capital Hill, 10 Lodge Street, Albany, NY 12207 or to The Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Honor Guard Association P.O. Box 140 Schuylerville, NY 12871 in Tom's memory.
