COLONIE- Theresa C. Bleichert, age 69, passed away surrounded by family on March 17, 2023.
She was born in Albany, the daughter of the late James Rhodes and Elizabeth Davis. She was also predeceased by her husband Albert H. Bleichert Sr.
Theresa retired from the Albany Police Department. She enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends and her beagle Lily.
Survivors include her four children: Michael (Magda) Bleichert, Kimberly Bleichert, Dawn (Robert) Franklin and Albert (Stephanie) Bleichert Jr.; grandchildren: Bridgette, Kenyon, Nadia, Jaiden, Isaiah, Scarlett; and great grandson Anthony.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her calling hours on Tuesday March 21, 2023 from 5 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Theresa's memory may be made to The Community Hospice and sent to: The Community Hospice Foundation, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208.
