Terri Marie McLean, 62, of Troy, NY, peacefully entered eternal rest on November 4, 2025 at her home following a 12 year battle with an ALK gene lung cancer.

Born on September 1, 1963 in Troy, NY, she was the daughter of Samuel E. McLean, Jacqueline McLean. She was a special daughter to Charles Francis.

Terri Graduated from Mont Pleasant High School in 1981 where she completed the business education curriculum. After high school she attended a technical school in Ohio. Her notable careers include 15+ years at First New York Federal Credit Union, formerly known as First Teachers Federal Credit Union, 10+ years with Wal-Mart and stents with Pioneer Savings Bank, and the Schenectady City School District.

If you knew Terri, you know that she was a fierce believer in God and faithful servant to her church and community. In her earlier years she was drawn to youth ministry serving as a Sunday school teacher, vacation Bible school teacher, and liturgical dance supervisor. She later became a licensed Minister.

Terri had a deep passion for photography, visual arts, and aspects of nature. She was known as the, "keeper of memories" as she held an abundance of photos of family and friends. She could always be counted on to capture memorable moments at any event.

Terri leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Gabrielle Smith-Jenkins (Corey Jenkins), and granddaughter Jade Jenkins of Troy, NY, her mother Jacqueline McLean of Jacksonville, FL, her father Samuel E. McLean Sr. of Sanford NC, a special father figure Charles Francis of Jacksonville, FL, siblings LaTonya McLean of Sanford, NC, Tiffany Moore (Davis Moore) of Wasilla, AK, Samuel E. McLean Jr., nieces and nephews Deja'vu Fulton (Lorenzo Fulton) of Charlotte NC, Emaj Smith (Erica Smith) of Sylvan Beach, NY, Breanna Trantham and Brittney Riggins-Spruell (Frank Spruell) of Fayetteville, NC, Issac Baker of Las Vegas, NV, Isaiah Baker, and Iris Davis of Wasilla, AK. Great nieces and nephews, Lexus, Jonathan, Josiah, and Nasir of Charlotte, NC, Niklaus, of Sylvan Beach, NY, Savannah, Tristan, and Ayla of Fayetteville, NC., 2 aunts, and numerous cousins. She will be dearly missed by her best friend LaRhonda Sullivan and her family of Washington State.

Her daughter would like to thank Dr. Makenzi Evangelist, the medical assistants and staff at NYOH of Albany on Patroon Creek for their diligence and support.

A memorial will be announced in the future.
