Albany - Teresa "Bo" Sorensen (Piazza), 67, passed away peacefully Sunday, May 7, 2017. Teresa was the daughter of the late Anthony and Anita Piazza.
Teresa was a "crafty" person. She was a bus driver, who loved camping and watching Animal Planet.
Teresa was the loving mother of her children,Tina Vasudeva, and James Bowie, Jr.; she was also the loving "Nanny" to her granddaughter, Serena Vasudeva. She is survived by her sister, Kathy Piazza; her nephew, Michael (Jolene) and her nephew-to-be "Z", and niece, Medina; and her beloved dog, "Waffles." She will also be missed by many of her dear friends.
Teresa was predeceased by her sisters, Barbara, and Patricia.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 11:00 am. Interment will follow the service at St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, NY.
