Tamara M. Flang, 87, wife of the late Robert J. Flang Sr. of Endicott, NY, passed away on Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at the Mountain Valley Hospice Home.

Born March 8, 1939 in Endicott, NY, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Carolyn Miller.


Tamara graduated from Endwell High School and began her career in Bank Management. She worked at the IBM Credit Union for more than 20 years. She enjoyed volunteering her time at the First Baptist Church of Owego and was a proud Girl Scout leader.

In retirement, Tammy and Bob relocated to Bradenton, Fl. They enjoyed time with family, boating, biking and drives to the beach. Much time was spent walking to the basin to see manatees and enjoying sunsets on Anna Maria Island.


Tamara is survived by her daughter, Becky Lemme (Flang) of Schenectady, NY and son, Robert J. Flang Jr. of Bradenton, FL.; 4 grandchildren, Melissa Owens (Eric), Michael Lemme (Codie), Carmen Flang and Gina Flang; great-grandchildren, Arianna, Madison, Payton and Penelope. She is also survived by her sister Pamela Knight.


The family is holding a private memorial, where Tamara will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband at Memory Gardens.
