Suzanne D. LaFleur

Cohoes- Suzanne LaFleur, cherished daughter of the late Charles and Florence LaFleur, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on June 14, 2026, at the age of 77.

Born and raised in Albany, New York, Suzanne attended Vincentian Institute, graduating with the Class of 1967. She continued her education at The Junior College of Albany, where she earned an Associate Degree.

She was a devoted mother to Shannon Withers (affianced Michael Koch), Kerry Withers (affianced Kenneth Scott), Meghan Withers, and Robert Withers. Suzanne lived a full and happy life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to her family. She found great joy in being a homemaker, and her world grew even brighter with the arrival of her grandchildren: Gabrielle (John) Reda, Jordan (Marissa) Withers, Ashlinn Withers, and Rocket Withers. Suzanne was the beloved sister of Michael LaFleur, Cherie LaFleur, and Celeste Edwards. Suzanne is also survived by her nephews and niece: Justin LaFleur, Ian Edwards, and Molly Edwards.

She enjoyed gardening, reading, traveling, and maintaining the many wonderful friendships she made throughout her life.

Though she may no longer be in our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts. Suzanne will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation hours 10:00am-12:00pm, followed by 12:00pm Celebration of life, will be held Thursday June 25, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals 343 New Karner Road Colonie, NY 12205. Interment to follow Our Lady of Angels Cemetery 1389 Central Ave, Colonie, NY 12205.
