Steven G. Depeaux

Steven Gerard Depeaux passed away peacefully May 14, 2026 after a long battle with lung cancer.

Steven was born on Christmas day 1958. As a child, he loved all the ‘little boy’ things. Playing in the dirt with matchbox cars, hide and seek and running up and down the sidewalks pushing his favorite fire “frucks”.

As a young adult he loved hiking in the woods, fishing and camping. He was a solitary person, happiest in these spaces. As an adult, he lived hard and battled harder. Cancer entered his life in 2019 and he has fought it since.

Steven was pre-deceased by his parents, Richard and Janice Depeaux.

Siblings are forever, regardless of where our road takes us and the amount of time that has passed. He will be missed, but we take great comfort in knowing that he has been reunited with our Mom.

Services will be private and entrusted to New Comer Cremations and Funerals, Colonie NY.
