Stephen Tillson

Stephen Evans Tillson (1947 to 2025)

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Stephen Evans Tillson. He passed away at home on October 16, 2025.

Stephen was born in Toledo, Ohio, to Robert and Florence Tillson. He graduated from Burnt Hills-Ballston Spa High School and earned his degree from the College of Fine and Applied Arts at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he met his loving wife, Wendy.

Stephen worked as a creative art director for many years. He was a gifted artist, inventor, designer, and hands-on creator. His imagination and skill fueled a lifetime of projects, each one reflecting his passion and ingenuity.

Stephen was a dedicated husband, and loving father and grandfather. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Robert Jeffrey.

He is survived by his wife Wendy, his daughters Sarah (Tom) and Allyssa (Nick), grandchildren Marianne, Julia, Ellison, and Ethan, and
sister, Kathy. 

A celebration of Stephen’s life will be held at a later date.
