Stephen Boras

Stephen Boras, born on April 3, 1957 in the Bronx, New York, to Andrew “Ken” and Rita Boras, passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of dedication, learning, and love.

A bright and curious mind from a young age, Steven graduated from Cardozo High School in Queens, NY before pursuing higher education at Pratt Institute, where he earned a degree in Electrical Engineering. His thirst for knowledge and passion for healing led him to further his education at Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Georgia, where he earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree.Steve was a man of many interests. He found peace and joy in the outdoors, whether he was horseback riding, hiking through nature trails, or simply taking in the beauty around him. He was also known to be a talented home cook and enjoyed making new and exciting dishes. But above all, his greatest joy came from being a father. He was endlessly proud of his children and their accomplishments, and he cherished time spent with them.

He is survived by his daughter Samantha Shoen (Antonio), his son Spencer Boras, his brother Robert Boras, and his devoted girlfriend Maureen Junke. He was predeceased by his brother Richard Boras, and Steve's beloved wife Ruth Warner-Boras, whose memory remained a guiding light in his life.

Steve will be remembered for his warmth, intellect, and unwavering love for his family. His spirit lives on in the lives he touched and the memories shared by those who knew and loved him.
