Stefanie Paslawski

Stefanie Paslawski, 90, died peacefully in her sleep on April 18, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was an active member of the Cohoes Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses until her death. Stefanie was known for her love of God and enthusiasm to share her beliefs with others. Her warm smile and affectionate manner endeared her to all who lovingly called her "Ma". She was a true homemaker who spent her life caring for her family and maintaining an immaculate home. Stefanie will be missed, especially during this time of year, because of her great love of gardening. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of the Eddy Village Green for the loving, tender and dignified way they took care of Stefanie at the end of her life. Her loving and devoted husband of 56 years, Andrew Sr., predeceased her in May 2002. She is survived by her children: Andrew Paslawski, Jr., Sofia Lovecchio, James Paslowski, Deborah McLaughlin, and Shirley Steyer; sons and daughters-in-law: Jonathan Lovecchio, Sherrie Paslowski, Mark McLaughlin, and Peter Steyer; grandchildren: Trevor, Michael and his wife Dianne, Nicole, Eric, Cassandra and Megan and her husband David; great-grandchildren: Drew, Delaney, Matthew and Michelle. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 400 Albany-Shaker Road, Albany, NY.
