Latham----Sonny R. Sitts, age 57, passed away peacefully at Community Hospice at St. Peter's on July 4, 2018.
He was born in Albany on March 25, 1961, the son of Jean D. Martini and the late William J. Sitts.
Sonny was a Laborer with Local 190 in Glenmont for the past 20 years. He was a USMC veteran, serving from 1981-1989.
He is survived by his partner Lin Antalek of 16 years; his son, Michael; his daughter, Heather; his brother, Mark Sitts and his sister, Michelle Sforza; several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 5 to 7 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. All are invited to attend his graveside services with full military honors at Gerald BH Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery on Thursday at 1 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Sonny's name to Wounded Warrior Project,
