Sieglinde C. "Linde" McDonagh, 66, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at Saratoga Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing, with her loving family by her side.
Linde was the daughter of the late Josef and Anna (Eckmayer) Loesch.
She was the devoted wife of over 43 years, to Brian B. McDonagh.
Linde was a communicant of both St. Clares in Colonie and St. Luke's on the Hill Church in Mechanicville for many years.
She enjoyed gardening, traveling, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Linde was predeceased by her brother, Konrad Loesch and her sister, Heidi Scholz.
She is survived by her husband, Brian B. McDonagh; her sons, Derek (Shannon) McDonagh and Daniel (Debbie) McDonagh. She is the proud grandmother of; Ryleigh, Colden, Josef and Tiernen. She is also survived by her brother, Franz (Terry) Kraus and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held at St. Luke's on the Hill, 40 McBride Rd, Mechanicville, NY on Saturday October 22, 2016 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am. A funeral service will follow the calling hours on Saturday at 11:00 am at the church. Interment will follow the service at Memory Gardens, Colonie, NY.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Northeastern New York 4 Pine West Plaza Albany, NY 12205 or to the Saratoga Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing 149 Ballston Ave., Ballston Spa, NY 12020 Unit B2, in Linde's memory.
