On Monday March 1, 2021 Shannon McElroy, 61, passed peacefully during surgery. He was a long time resident of Watervliet.
Shannon was a great painter and loved collecting memorabilia. He will be missed by all including his one true love, his dog and companion Cortana.
Shannon is pre deceased by his mother Eleanor Martinez and his father James McElroy.
He is survived by his brother, Aaron McElroy of Massachusetts, sisters Heather McElroy Harris of Arkansas and Brenda McElroy LaCombe of North Carolina. As well as several nieces and nephews.
There will be a graveside service on Albany Rural Cemetery in Menands, NY on Monday, March 22, 2021 at 10 am.
