TROY - Sarah C. Dobert, 91, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation & Nursing Center.
Born on February 19, 1933 in Bellefonte, PA she was the daughter of the late Norman Elwood and Minnie V. (Walker) Bostian. She worked at the Burlington Coat Factory in Latham for 15 years before retiring. She loved Christmas - especially decorating the house, Charlie Chan movies and Harlequin romance novels.
Sarah is survived by her children, John L. (Cindy) Dobert Jr., David A. (Joan) Dobert, Michael P. Dobert, Timothy E. (Kate) Dobert and Tanya L. (Chris) Doyle; 14 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, John L. Dobert, a brother and a sister.
