Sandra L. Brown

Sandra L. Brown, 79, wife of the late John S. Brown, of Albany NY, passed away on Saturday, August 9, 2025.

Born in Saratoga Springs NY in October of 1945, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Rose (Taras) Baker.

After achieving her Associate degree, Sandy went on to work for New York State as a Secretary in the State Comptroller office. In her retirement years, she enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

Sandy is survived by her loving and devoted son Brian and his wife Charlene, her grandsons John and Ethan; her brother Alan and his wife Maureen, her sister Joanne and her husband Michael, and many nieces and nephews. Sandy will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Graveside service will take place on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 12:00pm, at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871. For those who wish to attend, please join the family at 11:50am just inside the cemetery gates to join the procession to the service location.
