COLONIE – Ruth R. Seeliger, 89, formerly of Colonie, passed away on Sunday November 4, 2012 in San Diego where she had moved this year to be with her family.
Ruth was born in Silesia, Germany and was the daughter of the late Robert and Alfrieda Daviti Becker. She was predeceased in 2000 by her beloved husband, Kurt G. Seeliger. Ruth was a Textile Engineer with the former Marshall Ray and Ursula of Switzerland clothiers. She had been a member of the Colonie Senior Center for many years.
Ruth is the beloved mother of Helga (Gilbert) Amengual. She is the cherished grandmother of Ariel Johnson. She is the great grandmother of Lucas and Jayden Johnson.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend graveside services on Saturday morning at 10:00 at Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna.
