BALLSTON LAKE – Ruth M. Drescher (Dowse), 95, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2013. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Howard Drescher; sister Jane Dowse Hill and brother John Dowse. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She will be greatly missed by her best friend and canine companion, Jasper.
Funeral services for Ruth will be held on Friday at 10:00 am at New Comer Cannon Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4:30 to 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Interment will be in Albany Rural Cemetery, Menands.
