COLONIE – Ruth C. Kocsis, 86, of Colonie, passed way on Friday March 24, 2006 at Albany Medical Center Hospital after a brief illness.
She was born in Reading PA. Ruth was predeceased by her husband Joseph Kocsis, her son, Frederick Thomas and a grandson Scott Thomas. Ruth was a member of the Town of Colonie Silver Streakers Senior Citizens Club.
She is survived by her daughter, Barbara J. Maples (Jerry) of Colonie; her sons, Gary Thomas ( Abby) of Waterford and Kenneth Thomas ( Marian) of Troy. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Relatives and friends are invited and may call on Monday from 9 to 11 am at NewComer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd. Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery.
