Rudolph “Rudy” A. Santoli

Saying goodbye to someone you love is very difficult. Remembering all the wonderful times shared together is the easiest. Knowing Rudy will be greeted with open arms as he enters the “Pearly Gates” brings comfort and a smile to the faces of those who loved and knew him.

Rudolph A. Santoli was born on September 6, 1941, in Oceanside, NY, to the late Francis and Filomena Santoli. Rudy dedicated 47 years of service to Albany Medical Center, where he enjoyed a long and meaningful career.

Rudy and his beloved wife, Michele, shared 59 years of marriage, exemplifying a supportive and loving companionship. He cherished his family and friends. He enjoyed playing golf and bocce, proudly owned his 1970 Grabber Green Mach 1 Mustang, and was a devoted fan of the NY Giants. Rudy loved cooking, and the comforting aroma of marinara sauce wafting through the house will be deeply missed. The festive “Seven Fishes” Christmas Eve dinner will never be the same without him.

Rudy was predeceased by his siblings, Maddie Nilsson, Jo Glier, and Frank Santoli.

He is survived by the love of his life, Michele Santoli; his children, Alex (Liz) Santoli and Darcie (Todd) Hurteau; and his cherished grandchildren, Trey A. Santoli, Elijah V. Santoli, Chloe E. Hurteau, and Cate M. Hurteau. He is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

Calling hours will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., followed by a 6:00 p.m. service on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
