Roy E. Neville

Roy E. Neville, 93, passed away peacefully at home on October 4, 2025.

He was born in Baldwin, NY, where he grew up with his older brother, Charles.

Roy was very athletic and loved sports of every kind, especially baseball, and played minor league baseball for the Brooklyn Dodgers. He loved traveling, hiking in the Adirondacks, as well as the White Mountains in New Hampshire. He was involved with NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) for decades, and published a newsletter for members of its local chapter and beyond.

Roy was predeceased by his beloved wife, Mary, and his daughter, Rosemary Neville.

He is survived by his two children, Roy James Neville and Catherine Neville.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the First United Methodist Church in Schenectady. A private burial service will be held at Park View Cemetery.
