Rosemarie Fahd

Rosemarie Fahd, 78, passed away peacefully at home on May 25th, 2026. Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Emmett. Rosemarie is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Richard C. Fahd Sr.

Rosemarie was a medical receptionist for numerous medical practices in the Albany area. She loved to play bingo and Slotomania. Rosemarie loved her children and grandchildren more than anything.

In addition to her husband, Rosemarie is survived by her three children Jennifer Fahd, Stephanie Medved (Eric) and Richard C. Fahd Jr. (Erica). She was the loving “Simma” & “Nanny” to Brenden, Nicole, Alexa, Noah and Katelyn.

She is also survived by her brother John Emmett Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 4th, 2026 from 4pm-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie, NY 12205. A memorial service will begin at 6pm.
