Rose M. Wright

Rose M. Wright, 92, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 5, 2017 at her home, with her loving family by her side.

Born in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Pasquale and Mary Campione.

She was the devoted wife, of over 61 years, to the late John "Jack" Wright.

Rose was a member and a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church for many years. She worked at the Telephone Company in her early years, and then later worked for Tobin Packing until her retirement. After retirement she worked for the Tax and Finance Department with New York State, part time during Tax season.

She loved her family and dogs, especially her two best friends, Ollie and Lucy. She enjoyed traveling with her husband; going to the racetrack up in Saratoga and going to the casinos with her friends and family.

Rose is survived by children, Carol Ann (Richard) Arper and Keith (Lisa) Wright. She is the cherished grandmother of Alicia (Dan) Pisegna, Colin Arper and Diana (Ben) Arper-Radmore. She is the beloved great grandmother of Sophia Pisegna. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Funerals & Cremations, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, on Wednesday May 10, 2017 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am. and then to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 10:30 am where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment will follow the Mass at Our Lady of Angels, Colonie.

The family of Rose would like to thank the Pat, Chris, Donna and Stacy with Saratoga Hospice for all of their care, compassion and support given to Rose and her family.
