Rose M. Guyett

Rose M. Guyett, 79, passed away on May 18, 2026 suddenly at her home in Ballston Spa. Her nickname was "Peachy", given to her father Herman D. Guyett.

She was born September 16, 1946 in Hardwick, Vermont, and was the daughter of the late Herman D. Guyett and Margaret Turner Guyett.

Rose attended Phillip Schuyler high school, and then went on to work for the state at 44 Holland Avenue in Albany. After that she worked for the Capital District Psychiatric Center as a Senior Medical Record Clerk.

In her spare time she was on a bowling league and dart league.In addition to her parents, In addition, she was predeceased by her brother Herman, sister Anne, Betty, Nancy, Claire, and brother Herbert.

She is survived by her son, Jeffrey Leto and daughter, Gina Leto; siblings, Joseph Guyett, Ellen Rhoten, Patricia Guyett, Constance Travis, Anita Waller, James Guyett, Paul, and Richard Guyett; grandchildren, Amber Leto, Jason DeHart, and Ashlee DeHart; great-grandchildren Kaiya Leto and Kadence DenHard-Leto.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a memorial service to immediately follow, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.
