Robert K. Walters

Robert K. Walters of Schenectady, New York, passed away on January 27, 2026. He was a devoted husband, loving father, and a steady, caring presence to his family and all who knew him. 

Robert was a man of quiet strength and loyalty, someone who showed his love through his actions and unwavering support. He valued family above all else and took pride in the life he built with those he loved. His calm nature, warm smile, and dependable spirit left a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Laura Walters; his daughter, Deanna Young; his stepdaughters, Sara Messineo, Nicole Kwiatkowski, and Naomi Woodbeck; as well as several cherished grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

The family extends special thanks to his niece, Angela Whiting, for her care and support, and to his best friend and brother-in-law, Kenneth Whiting, whose presence and friendship meant so much to Robert. 

Visiting hours will be held from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Wednesday, February 4, 2026 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie.

Robert will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and forever held in the hearts of his family and friends.
