Robert I. Wadsworth, 86, of Colonie NY passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025. Born in New Lebanon, NY, he was the son of Pratt and Agnes Wadsworth. Robert was married for 63 beautiful years to the love of his life, Linda, with whom they raised four children. 

Robert joined the Navy in 1957 and retired CPO from the USS Turner ODR 834 after 22 years of loyal service. He retired from Amersham, Rensselaer, NY in 1994. Robert was an avid hiker, enjoyed riding his motorcycles, and fishing. He was a hard-working, honorable, well-loved family man, respected by all who knew him.

Robert is survived by his wife, Linda and their children, Mark (Martha), Wayne (Laurie), Dale (Kathy), and Jackie (Hach).

He was the beloved grandfather of Liam, Erin, Justin (Sara), Brian (Yaqing), Garrett (Victoria), Trevor (Sarah), Matthew, Steven (Valerie), and Chris.

He was a proud great grandfather of Anna, Mary, Dagny, Hazel, Rosalie, Archer, William, Jacob, Mabel, Ella, Zion, Asher, Paxton, and Tenzin.

There will be no services at this time. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
