Robert W. Slauson

Robert W. Slauson Sr, 78, passed away on October 17, 2026 with his children by his side. 

Born on February 15,1948, Robert was the son of the late Richard and Edith Slauson. 

He graduated from Rensselaer High School where he then spent 2 years in the Army. He spent the rest of his life in the Schodack/Nassau area where he raised two children Kimberly and Bob Jr. He spent his career working at Pepsi Cola then U.S. Airways where he retired from. Throughout his life he never missed a chance to spend time at his Log cabin hunting camp in the Adirondack's hunting, fishing or just relaxing in the peace and quiet.

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brother, Richard Slauson (Karen).

Robert is survived by his children, Kimberly Slauson and Robert Jr. Slauson (Rosemary); brothers, Gregory and Leonard (Christine) Slauson; grandson, Jared Bowman; nieces, Tracy (Michael) Delano and Shonna Slauson; and nephew, Michael (Jessica) Slauson.

Calling hours will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., with a service to immediately follow at 12 p.m., on Tuesday, October 27, 2026 at  New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. Interment with Military Honors to follow at Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
