Robert V. Nati, 65, passed away on October 31, 2026. Born in Albany, Robert was the son of the late Frank Nati and Dolores Kohler.

Robert was a man who truly loved life. He had a special way of bringing people together, making friends wherever he went, and leaving lasting memories with those fortunate enough to know him. Above all, Robert shared a beautiful life and an extraordinary bond with his beloved wife, Esther Nati. Married for 43 years, their relationship was built on a lifetime of love, devotion, and unwavering commitment to one another. Their love was an example of what it means to stand by each other through all of life's joys and challenges.

Music was one of Robert's greatest passions. An exceptionally talented musician, he could sing and play guitar with the best of them. Over the years, he performed in several bands and developed countless friendships throughout the music community. Music was more than a talent for Robert; it was a part of who he was and a way of connecting with others. One of the memories he will always treasure is introducing Lucas to the world of music and sharing the joy of performing together.

Robert was equally gifted in his professional life. An accomplished welder, his skill and experience eventually led him to teach welding at the Modern School of Welding in Schenectady. It was a job he truly loved, allowing him to share his knowledge, experience, and passion for the trade with others. His talents also took him to Texas, where he continued to put his skills to work.

In addition to his beloved wife, Esther, Robert is survived by his siblings, Frank III, Michelle, and Lisa; and his nephews, Lucas, Jeffrey, and Justin. He will also be deeply missed by the many friends he made throughout his life, especially those who shared his love of music.

Robert's life was filled with love, laughter, music, friendship, and devotion. Though his voice may be silent and his guitar no longer played, the music he brought into the lives of others will live on. His memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved him.

A Celebration of Life for Robert will be announced at a later date. Please refer back to the Newcomer Funeral Home website for details regarding the date, time, and location.

He will be forever loved, forever missed, and never forgotten.
