Robert J. Lasak

Robet J. Lasak, 83, of Delanson, passed away on July21st, 2025 at Ellis Hospital. He was born in Niskayuna and raised in the Rotterdam area. Bob was a 1960 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High Schools Technical Program under the guidance of Joseph Zizi. He went on to graduate from Oswego. After graduating he entered the U.S. Army leaving with an honorable discharge. 

Bob began his teaching career with the Mohonasen School District in the Industrial Arts Department, where he worked until his retirement. 

Bob loved getting together with his family for all the holidays, and especially enjoyed his daily lunch at the Duanesburg Diner, where he was made to feel welcomed. He loved their Christmas parties. 

He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Lorraine (Legere) Lasak and his nephew Edward Lasak. 

Bob is survived by his brother William (Dorothy), nephew Robert, niece Lori (Joel) Quay and their children Justin, Jordan and London Rose.
