Robert Lee “Mountin" Graham, 62, of Albany, NY, passed away peacefully on December 16, 2025, at St. Peters Hospital in Albany, with his two beloved children by his side.
Robert was born on March 27, 1963, in Albany, NY, to Isiah Graham and Essie Kelly. He was a proud graduate of Albany High School, where he shined as a basketball star, demonstrating the athleticism and determination that would define his character throughout his life.
Robert's greatest passion was working with young people. He dedicated much of his life to mentoring and supporting youth at Albany High School and the Arbor Hill Community Center, where he made a lasting impact on countless lives. Though his life's journey took him to Connecticut and Maryland, Robert's heart always belonged to Albany, and he ultimately returned home to be close to the family and friends he cherished.
Robert was predeceased by his father, Isiah Graham; sisters Willie Gray (Graham) Quattlebaum and Francis Mae Graham Hector; brothers Larry Charleston and Isiah Graham Jr.; and brother-in-law James Knight.
He is survived by his children, Dramere Graham and Jenae Graham; his mother, Essie Kelly; siblings Brenda Knight (Kevin), Deborah Kelly, Phyllis Kelly, Bettylou Graham, Sam Wright, and Dean Rowlett (Brenda); godson Ricky Burton; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; and his cherished best friends Terry Jones, Robin Johnson, Anton "AD" Hagans, Troy Turner, and Dion Barnes.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026, from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A Celebration of Life to immediately follow the calling hours at 2 p.m.
