Robert L. Anderson

Rotterdam- Robert "Bob" Anderson died on Monday, February 22, 2016 after a brief illness. He was 63.
Bob was born to Eva Mae (Bunzey) Anderson and Perry Anderson. He graduated from Berne-Knox- Westerlo then Texas A&M for heavy construction. He later joined the United States Army.
Bob enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and attending car shows with his pick-up truck. He worked as a security monitor for the Mohonasen High School. He was vigilant about keeping the kids safe and everyone enjoyed his smile.
Bob is survived by his brothers Richard Anderson and his wife Gabby Anderson and Donald Anderson .He is also survived by his son Jason Anderson and family and his daughter Laura Stevens and her family. Bob also leaves behind many loving family members and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice in honor of Bob Anderson.
Calling hours will be held Sunday, February 28, 2016 from 12:00pm-3:00pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205. A memorial service will follow starting at 3:00pm.
