Robert Jobin

Robert Jobin passed away on September 4, 2026, in Rochester, New York, at the age of 78. He was born on May 3, 1948, in Schenectady, New York.

Robert will be remembered with love by his wife, Shirley Jobin, with whom he shared 54 years of marriage. He is also survived by his son, Robert L. Jobin and Kelly; his daughter, April Denno; his granddaughter, Ginger Jobin; his grandson, James Bowers; his grandson Jake Denis, together with Meriem and Holly Jobin; his great-granddaughter, Aisha Denis; and his brother, Chuck Swan.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Longtin, his sister, Polly Smith, and his best friend, Garry Sutton. He is also predeceased by his parents, Paul and Ruth Swan Jobin.  Their memories remained an enduring part of his life and of the family who loved him. 

Robet loved hunting and fishing and riding his Harley and driving his Corvette. He loved helping people by giving them rides and food. 

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 23, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, Colonie, 343 New Karner Rd, Colonie, New York 12205. 

Robert will be remembered with affection by those who knew him and by the family whose lives were shaped by his presence. May his memory bring comfort and peace to all who mourn his passing.
