Robert J. Miller

Schenectady – Robert J. Miller,75, passed away on June 3, 2026. Born on June 16, 1950, in Albany, New York, he was the son of the late Alfred and Marie Miller.

Robert enjoyed watching Yankees and Giants games with his beloved granddaughter, Amelia “Hunny Bunny” Pelton. He also loved working on garage projects with his brother, Greg. Together, Robert and Greg owned and operated Colonie Tree Service, Commercial Maintenance, and Trucking for many years.

In his younger years, Robert enjoyed camping trips with his daughter, Kayla, as well as fishing, boating, and spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his brother, Thomas Miller.

Robert is survived by his daughter, Kayla Miller (Shane Pelton); his cherished granddaughter, Amelia Pelton; his siblings, Linda (William) Serritella, Elaine Miller, Maribeth (Frank) Orciuoli, Gregory (Lori) Miller, and Scott (Shelia) Miller; his sister-in-law, Carmina Miller; his longtime friend, Debbie Marhafer; his nieces, Jessica, Marisa, Natalia, and Charlotte; his nephews, Billy, Ryan, Danny, Anthony, Christopher, Aaron, Kevin, Rocco, Matteo, and Tommy; and a host of extended family members and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., followed by a funeral service at 5:00 p.m., on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie, NY 12205.
