Robert D. Forquer Jr.

Robert D. Forquer Jr, passed away Saturday July 26, 2025.

Born January 12, 1942, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Robert and Emma (Breighner) Forquer.

Mr. Forquer was a master in his trade of automotive. Restoring classic vehicles and rebuilding cars for collectors. He loved to take something old and in need of repair and bring it back to its original appearance. He was a collector and enjoyed visiting coin shows and antique stores looking for rare finds. He was a vibrant man who was always on the go, refusing to rest and waste time. He loved a good hamburger with his french fries and gravy smothered in Salt and Pepper. Working with his hands was his favorite pastime. His best friend was his son, Eric and some of his fondest memories were working side by side with him.

He is survived by children Eric of Schenectady, NY, Sandra of Irmo, SC, Dwayne and his wife Donna of Falling Waters, WV, Robert and his wife Billie Jo of Charlotte, NC and Mathew and his wife Patty of Hedgesville, WV, Elizabeth and her husband Kenneth of Inwood, WV and Connie and her husband Keith of Irmo, SC; 13 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren and 2 half-brothers Warren and Darwin, and his partner Jeanette Hanna.

He was predeceased by his brothers Franklin, Ronald and Charles.

There will be a Memorial Visitation on August 14, 2025, from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie NY 12205.
