Robert Joseph Fluty, 62, of Schenectady NY passed away on July 25, 2026 at Albany Medical Center. He was born in Schenectady to Robert Fluty Sr, and the late Diane Laflin.
Robert was known for his witty sense of humor and laughter, his gift for conversation, and most importantly his generosity. He was a lover of cats (especially his Chubby!), and going to the dirt modified races in Fonda. When inspired, he was an excellent chef and an avid fisherman. He will be deeply missed.
In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his sister Charmaine Florell
He is survived by his father, Robert Fluty Sr. (Kathy), brother Daryll Fluty, sister Renoa Woods, as well as his nieces and nephews, Autumn Rain Fluty, Monique Levesque, Kristin Florell and Kyle Florell.
In lieu of flowers, donations to an animal rescue of choice are suggested.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday July 30th at 2pm at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
