Robert "Bob" F. Mosher

LATHAM- Robert “Bob” F. Mosher, age 88, went into the arms of the Lord on June 28, 2026 at Ellis Hospital.

He was born in Troy, the son of the late Earl and Mildred Mosher. He was also predeceased by his son Steven and by his three brothers: Gale, Harold and Donald.

Bob was a graduate of Troy High School and retired as an Inspector from General Electric.

He was an avid train enthusiast. He was always tinkering or fixing something. He loved his Ford trucks, Nascar, cartoons and food. He loved his “Princess” Arlene.

Bob is survived by his wife of 67 years Arlene; son Ronald (dec. Carolyn); daughter in law Caryl; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his calling hours on Tuesday July 7, 2026 from 4 to 6 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 181 Troy Schenectady Road, Watervliet, NY 12189. All are invited to attend his funeral service on Wednesday July 8, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery, Troy, NY.

The family would like to thank Sherri, Haley and the staff at Schuyler Ridge Nursing Home for the care given to Bob and Crystal, Dr. Bullock and Johnathan at Ellis Hospital for their Comfort Care during his final journey home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to Latham Christian Academy, 495 Watervliet Shaker Road, Latham, NY 12110, where Bob found his true calling serving the children at the academy.
