Rita C Motto

Rita C. Motto, 94, passed away quietly at her home with her family by her side on Thursday, July 30, 2026.

Rita is predeceased by her husband of 55 years Joseph.

Rita is survived by her children, Paul (Peg Hopper) Motto, Leonard (Sheryl) Motto and Joseph (Mary) Motto. Rita was blessed with seven grandchildren, Bobby, Tara, Rachel, Carli, Aaron, Jennifer and Todd. Also surviving are her precious great grand children Oliver, Maisie, Avery and Sophie. She was their Gigi and proud of it.

Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Albany, New York on Friday August 7, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held Saturday August 8, 2026 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be at Memory Gardens, Colonie, New York.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to the Community Hospice, 310 S. Manning Blvd., Albany, NY 12208 to thank them for all of their support and kindness.
