Richard F. Volk

ALBANY- Richard F. Volk, age 87, passed away on December 6, 2025.

He was born in Albany, the son of the late Emma and Francis Volk.

Richard was Honorably Discharged from the Air Force and the Air National Guard after 22 years. He was a Ham Radio operator under the call sign WA2BUC. He was a member of the Joseph E. Zaloga Post 1520.

He is survived by his wife Virginia Volk; sister Doloris (Ron) Malpass; stepsons: Chris Pace and Matt Jones and grandson, Logan Pace. Also survived by other relatives and friends.

All services will be private at the convenience of the family.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Richard's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Disease Association, 1003 Loudon Road, Cohoes, NY 12047.
