Richard Vanne, 50, passed away on July 16, 2026.
Richard was born on December 27, 1975 in Schenectady, the son of Kathleen O’Brien and the late Richard Vanne.
He was currently employed as a chef with The Orchard Tavern West in Guilderland. He was a loving son, and will be remembered by many friends.
He is survived by his mother, Kathleen; aunt, Chris Tanchak; cousins, Lisa Lane, Loriann Lucarelli (Andy), and John Tanchak (Jennifer).
A calling hour will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026 from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie. A funeral ceremony to immediately follow. Interment to follow in Memory Gardens.
